Project Engineer
Sligo & Mayo
One of our key clients requires a Mechanical Engineer for mechanical projects in pharmaceutical plants in the west of Ireland. The successful Mechanical Engineer will have a proven track record of delivering projects from inception to final handover in the pharmaceutical industry and will report to the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
■ Assisting in the design, procurement, planning and administration of subcontractor contracts
■ Progress assessment and reporting
■ Close liaison with Project Managers to help with the day-to-day management of projects
■ Working with site personnel and subcontractors to ensure proper flow of information
■ Liaising with engineers, architects and main contractors as representative of the company
■ Monitoring the standard and quality of installations, ensuring standards are maintained and work is completed in compliance with specifications
■ Implementation of safety, including preparation and submission of method statements and risk assessments
■ Assisting with the production and preparation of as-built records
■ Completing commissioning documentation and BCAR certification
■ Assisting with the compilation of O&M manuals
■ Attending site meetings
■ Attending site walks
Experience & Qualifications:
■ Mechanical Engineering Degree
■ A mechanical background would be beneficial
■ Some site experience would also be beneficial
■ To be successful in this role you will need to be ambitious, results driven and resilient, with good attention to detail and good communication skills
