Job Title: Pipe Fitter

Location: Ireland- covering pump maintence nationawide

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Pipe Fitter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects within a professional and safety-focused environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of pipework systems while ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain galvanised steel pipework ranging from 1" to 4".
• Operate pipe threading machines and associated tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Liaise effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure projects are delivered on time.
• Work independently when required, taking ownership of tasks and following instructions accurately.
• Assist with the installation of plastic pipe systems where required.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Proven experience working with galvanised steel pipe (1"–4").
• Experience using pipe threading machines and associated tools.
• Ability to work independently and confidently during periods of lone working.
• Strong ability to follow and interpret technical instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safe working practices and high-quality workmanship.

Desirable:

• Experience working with plastic pipe systems.
• Experience using fusion welding equipment (an advantage but not essential).
