The Role

One of our key clients requires a Mechanical Supervisor for mechanical projects in pharmaceutical plants in the west of Ireland (Sligo/Westport). The successful Mechanical Supervisor will have a proven track record of delivering projects from inception to final handover in the pharmaceutical industry and will report to the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

■ Coordinating and planning resources, including labour, materials and subcontractors

■ Managing and driving a team to meet all project requirements and deadlines

■ Strong emphasis on ensuring adherence to very high safety and quality standards

■ Supervising activity and work package delivery

■ Liaising with engineers, architects and main contractors as representative of the company

■ Attending all whiteboard and permit meetings

■ Management of all day-to-day on-site operations

Experience & Qualifications:

■ Senior Trades qualification or equivalent, coupled with site experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry

■ Previous experience gained within a mechanical or building services environment, preferably for a services contractor

■ Proven record of coordinating and managing large projects

■ A minimum of 5 years in a supervision role

■ Good computer skills in Word, Excel etc.

■ Fluent English

■ Strong mechanical experience
